Pay & Route Details
- $0.60 to $0.70 CPM based on experience, safety record, flatbed experience, and lane assignment. Weekly gross pay varies by miles, route, load type, and load availability.
- Regional and OTR open-deck freight opportunities available.
- 48- and 53-foot flatbed trailer operations for standard legal-load freight.
- Driver should be able to secure open-deck freight using straps, chains, binders, edge protectors, dunnage, and tarps when required.
- Duties include pre-trip load inspection, in-route securement checks, tarping when assigned, route communication, proof of delivery, and accurate shipment documentation.
Dedicated Driver Qualifications
- Must be at least 23 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional tractor-trailer experience required; flatbed or open-deck experience strongly preferred.
- Must be comfortable operating 48- and 53-foot flatbed trailers and securing standard legal-load open-deck freight.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical, DOT drug screening, background check, and MVR review.
- No DUI within 5 years, or 10 years if CDL holder at time of DUI.
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years, and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
- Must meet the physical demands of flatbed work, including safe handling of straps, chains, binders, tarps, and related securement equipment when required.
- Must comply with DOT hours-of-service rules, ELD requirements, cargo securement regulations, company safety policies, and customer delivery requirements.
